Hot & Cold Magnesium Pools & Spa
Our Wet area includes the use of our Hot & Cold Magnesium Pools & can optionally add on the warm jacuzzi / Spa bath for an extra 15mins of relaxation!
Our Cold Magnesium Pool is set to a refreshing 13-15 degrees
Our Hot Magnesium Pool is set to a balmy 38 degrees
Our Jacuzzi / Spa bath is set to a warming 37/37.5 degrees
We generally start your session in the Jacuzzi for 15mins to ease in, sit back and let the water jets work their magic!
Then you head up to finish your session with a 30min Hot & Cold Magnesium Soak!
We offer music playing in the centre, a timer running so you can challenge yourself and keep track of how long you have been in each pool, towel hooks & a clock provided up at the pools to monitor your session duration, otherwise staff will come and let you know when your session time has finished.
Normatec Compression & Massage Guns
Our relaxation room is perfect for those that want to switch off from the outside world!
Starting at a 30min relaxation session with your choice of 1 Normatec system or you can upgrade to a 60min session and use more than 1 system throughout this time!
Sit back & relax in one of our 5 comfortable leather reclining chairs, air-conditioning & your choice of netflix or Stan on offer or sit back and read a book whilst enjoying your session.
NormaTec Compression Systems use dynamic compression (pulsing) to your selected area.
There are 3 separate types of systems you can choose from; Arm system, Leg system or around your Waist system.
The Arm & Leg systems have 4-5 chambers/sections the system will inflate with compressed air & circulate through by working it’s way up your legs from your toes to thighs and arms from your finger tips to shoulders. The waist system has 2 chambers of compression, around the tops of the thighs & glutes/lower back.
The systems have 7 levels of intensity that you can turn up or down yourself throughout your session to increase or decrease the level of compression to your needs.
Our Booster Pro 3 Massage Gun is for you to enjoy self-use of.
The Booster Pro 3 has 4 variable speeds to choose from while it automatically shifts through 30 different levels of pressure while you use it.
Infrared Sauna Area
Our Infrared sauna area is in the back corner of our open floor plan, next to the pools.
TLC Recovery has 2 x Infrared Sauna’s on offer.
1 x Private, Red light integrated, 3 person Sauna is good for couples or small group wanting to enjoy a more private session. You do pay a little more for this session & can choose from 30mins for beginners or 45mins for more experienced sauna users. Cleaned after each session & pre-warmed for each session.
1 x Large, 5 person Sauna is for larger groups or a budget friendly option for those that don’t mind sharing with up to 5 other customers that may want to use the sauna at the same time as you. (You also may get lucky and have this all to yourself! )Cleaned intermittently & warm all day.
Infrared light/heat is very gentle. The experience is similar to lying in the sun on a warm day.
Infrared heaters are actually light that is invisible to the human eye. This light heats the body directly, whereas other sauna’s such as traditional or hot rock heat the air around you. So depending on how warm your core body temperature is, depends on how quickly this will rise and sweat in an infrared sauna. More frequent sauna sessions per week are recommended over longer durations. We don’t offer any longer than 45min sessions.
The optimal temperature for an infrared sauna session is between 38 to 55 degrees which is comfortable for thirty minutes or more. We do try to keep our infrared sauna’s around 60 degrees for user comfort.
Venom Back heat & vibration
The Venom back is a wearable device that combines heat and vibration to warm your lower back area
The Venom features a premium compression wrap that holds heat and vibration right where you need it most.
it includes 4 vibration pods across the back and variable sequences of vibration.
You can add the Venom back onto any service type, nice to wear whilst you sit in the relaxation room with the normatec legs on!
